Spring is here!
It's been a very long winter indeed. Our yard is bursting with white and violet crocus. The tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and others are sprouting their leaves and ready to explode with color any day now. Delicate snowdrops welcome you as one enters the backyard. There are the tiniest Irises imaginable greeting our driveway. What an exciting time! I’ve laid a layer of pre-emergent corn meal gluten down and crossing my fingers that it will prevent the invasion of crabgrass we saw last summer. Next is planning our first raised vegetable garden. Brett and Zoe constructed a bird house too.
