Lola's chair rehab

A friend in Somerville gave away this sweet old chair that needed some re-upholstering.  My dear artist and crafting mother offered to re-upholster the chair.  It has a new life in our living room and fits me nicely as it's not an "oversized" piece of furniture that one finds in today's furniture stores.  I like vintage and antique pieces of furniture because of their sturdiness, quality and the story they tell.  I often will look at a piece and ask, "What kind of home did it live in, who used this furniture and what did it experience these past decades?"
