Summer filled with house projects!

I realize it's been a year since I last posted.  We finally moved the kids into their own bedrooms in the upstairs space.  Yeah for a second bath!  Check out the web album showing the transformation.

I'm blessed with a husband that gets the job done!  We started "smaller house projects" this summer including: retro fitting a base cabinet in the kitchen,  re-purposing an old vanity mirror into a large floor mirror, fixing the garden beds and adding gravel pathways (no more grass, hooray!) and underway is a new closet turning into a hide-a-way office for Aimee.  Brett is doing all the new electrical.  We have also converted the kids old bedroom into a work and guest room space.

Kids old bedroom is now the family office.

New lighting in the back room illuminates work space and art work. Brett installed the track lighting.

Brett did a great job building long desk space and handcrafted the desk tops.
