New living space is almost complete

Our former "attic space" is now on it's path to completion! We primed and painted all the newly plastered walls and ceilings (ugh... neck pain anyone?). After the kids went to bed, we put on our work clothes and spent our evening hours painting in the humid summer heat. The finish plumbing work was done and our bathroom is fully functioning. Yay for a second bathroom! All the finish electrical was installed and the fire inspector gave it his thumbs up. We had red oak floor installed last week and they look great! We entertained the idea of re-purposing the heart pine flooring from the original attic floors however after some research by asking a local antique flooring company for advice... it was too much labor and the wood supply was in rather bad shape. All that is left is the baseboard trim, window trim and crown molding and painting all the trim. This is a task Brett will chip away this coming year. We'll be adding new photos as we go along.
