Crab Apple Tree gone!

We dung out yet another tree trunk; this one was growing into the front porch foundation. We took out another tree stump and many roots we discovered as we continued to dig. We now have space for a new flower bed. We've planted some perennials to start our mosaic of flowers. I discovered a small nursery in Cambridge, Bonny's, in the Alewife Brook area. They have a great selection of flowers, ornamental grasses and even Tug Trugs! Russian Sage (Salvia) have a wonderful scent and a delicately graceful way of showing it's simple beauty. Pink Asters, Silver Mounds, Lupines and annuals such as Marigolds, Mums and some fuzzy ruby colored plant that I'm forgetting.
